The plunger is the main part of the Vulcanizing Press Machine. Although its structure is simple, if it is ignored, the performance of the flat vulcanizer will not meet the working requirements. Therefore, the following technical requirements are put forward for the plunger. When the sealing ring of the cylinder plunger is used If it is old or damaged, it must be renewed when it fails to meet the sealing requirements.
To do this, raise the lift plate to the maximum height, cushion it with a wooden block, etc. below to prevent it from falling, loosen the fixing screw on the lift plate, turn the handle, open the oil port, and make the plunger and The lifting platform is separated, then loosen the nut, take out the nut from the gap between the plunger and the lifting plate, then close the oil return valve, continue to operate the oil pump, the plunger moves up, take out the sealing ring from the oil cylinder, and replace it new. Finally, install it as it is.
Precautions：
(1) In order to reduce the weight of the plunger itself, save materials and reduce energy consumption, when the diameter of the plunger is greater than 150mm, it should be made hollow when the strength and stiffness requirements are met.
(2) In order to reduce the friction between the plunger and the sealing ring and improve the corrosion resistance, the surface finish should be high (above 1.6).
(3) In order to ensure that the plunger will not rise infinitely after it rises to the specified height, a reverse groove can be opened along the busbar at one end near the bottom of the cylinder (the cross section is 10-20mm2, and the length exceeds the sealing device by 40-50mm) or Drill a hole on the wall of the plunger at the corresponding part. When the plunger rises beyond the specified stroke, the upper end of the groove or the hole exceeds the sealing device, and the working fluid in the working cylinder will overflow outward through the groove, making the working cylinder The pressure inside drops and the plunger stops rising.
(4) The connection between the upper part of the plunger and the platform should be stable and easy to maintain.
